Wilin Garden AR

Augmented Reality | 3D Animation | Adobe Aero | Google Geospatial

The Wilin Garden Augmented Reality project is a collaboration with visual artist Amina Briggs facilitated by the University of Melbourne. Amina is the creative voice behind the project, which transforms the Wilin Garden at the Victorian College of the Arts into another world through augmented reality, using Adobe Aero and Google’s Geospatial plugin. Amina is an Indigenous artist and she drew from the iconography within her culture as well as the history of the Wilin Garden itself to inform the alternate world.

In collaboration with Amina, Quinn created the environments, characters, animation and the AR experience itself.

This project is still in development and set to be launched in late February 2024.
